Hey! So Glad You're Here.

My name is Mallory Pool and I am from Enid, Oklahoma. I have always loved traveling and hope to do it as a career after I graduate. I'm at Oklahoma State University double majoring in Multimedia Journalism and Strategic Communications. I hope to travel write full time or get a PR job that lets me travel. ​

Throughout my blog, you'll find my dream places I want to visit, the places I have been, and some of my favorite things and top choices for travel (my go to airplane read, travel playlists, favorite vacation foods, etc.). I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list. As I travel, I'll add to posts and check things off my bucket list. You should join me. The Scenic Route isn't about being a professional traveler, I am most definitely far from that. I'm not going to offer you tips and tricks because I haven't learned them myself. This is about expressing my love for travel and hoping people relate to that love.
