The Inside Scoop
About Me

Career Goals
There are a few career goals that I hope to accomplish in my life. I primarily want to use my journalism degree to either be a travel writer or work communications, social media and brand management for women's sports. First, I am attending graduate school at the University of Missouri, getting my master's degree in journalism with a concentration in photojournalism. I would also eventually like to obtain my PhD and teach at a university later in life. I have found my passion in journalism and strategic communications so any job in the field would be rewarding.
Personal Life
I grew up in a small town outside of Enid, Oklahoma. Since college has started, I have found passions for sustainability, media law and the arts. I've also found a love for traveling when studying abroad last summer in Ireland. I was also involved in Oklahoma State University's Student Foundation, Steering Committees for Greek life shows and was a multimedia video intern for the College of Arts & Sciences communications department. I am a member of Order of Omega, Phi Kappa Phi and Mortar Board honor societies. At the University of Missouri, I am the graduate research assistant for the Investigative Reporters & Editors Data Library.
